MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME

Malaysian Skills Certification Programme is accredited by Department of Skills Development (JPK) and implemented based on the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) which are established by the Department of Skills Development under the Ministry of Human Resources. NOSS is a document that outlines the skills required of an employee working in Malaysia at a certain level of employment to achieve specific skills. It is career-based and prepared by selected industrial experts.

The Skills Certification Programme is recognized by industry in Malaysia. Malaysian Skills Certification Programme provides an attractive career path and personal growth opportunity for participants and its comparable to a career choice based on academic qualifications. Malaysian Skills Certification Programme is able to produce skilled workers who are trained and qualified to enhance the competitiveness of local industries in the global market.

LOCAL & INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The minimum requirements for candidates to join the Malaysian Skills Certification Programme are:

  1. Age of between 16 to 35 years old.
  2. Ability to communicate and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  3. Must have passed a lower SKM level before signing up for a higher SKM level in the same field.
  4. Have a Level 2 SKM Certificate in the automotive field. (Automotive Programme)
  5. Have an interest in studying and working in the automotive industry.
CONVENIENCE

Some of the convenience provided are:

  1. Tuition fee loan & subsistence allowance (RM600/month) from PTPK.
