VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TRAINING ACADEMY (VETA) was incorporated under the Malaysian Company Act 1965 on 14th January 2008, with the name Quality Weld Academy initially. Our main skills training programmes are welding and automotive. VETA has crafted a skills training programmes featuring dual-certification, comprising the Malaysian Skills Certificate alongside a Professional Certificate from renowned international bodies. This initiative aims to cultivate professionals who not only possess profound knowledge and competence but also boast high employability within industries.
VETA has been accredited as a skills training center as follows:
VETA developed Welding and Automotive skills training program under the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) certification in collaboration with professional certification bodies to recognize trainees’ competency levels according to international and industry standards.
VETA collaborates with the certification of Lloyd’s Register, UK in welding while for the automotive course, VETA collaborates with the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), UK certification.

VETA is headed by Puan Roszida Binti Othman as a Managing Director in leading this dynamic group of people towards its vision in realizing the aspiration of EMPLOYABILITY with HIGH INCOME through skill training and education.
Started as a profound training provider in the Welding Skill Training System where it is accredited by Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia as Accredited Centre LO1981, VETA is now embarking into diversified training areas through holistic approach adhering to the development of High Income Economy.
VETA has developed the Welding Skill Training System on the advanced welding technology which combines the VIRTUAL WELDING TRAINING SYSTEM (VWTS) & PRACTICAL WELDING TRAINING APPROACH (PWTA) and in collaboration with Llyod’s Register Group to enhance PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION with INDUSTRIAL RECOGNITION for the professional welder.
VETA has also developed HOLISTIC AUTOMOTIVE PROGRAMME under Malaysian Skills Certification collaborating with Institute of Motor Industry Awards, United Kingdom to achieve the professional certification with industrial recognition in automotive.
